The overview map is in scale 1:100,000 and is printed double-sided in the format 62.0×69.1cm. It is delivered folded to A4 format or as a flat/unfolded roll.
It is excellent for planning and accompanying navigation with a plotter. It does not replace regular charts but contains all the information needed quickly for daytime navigation, for example if the technology fails. In addition, the map is printed on a tear- and water-resistant synthetic material that can withstand use on board an open boat. It is also possible to write on the map with a soft pencil and erase.
All markings are included in the map with a few exceptions. In densely marked areas, not all markings can be reported, where a boating chart/chart on a larger scale is required. The depth curves circle the water areas where you need to be extra vigilant and take out a chart on a larger scale or take a closer look at the plotter.
