TERMS OF PURCHASE

General Terms
Note! Once you have finally approved your order for payment, it cannot be cancelled. The order is processed immediately. However, you always have the right to withdraw from the purchase and return the goods within 14 days. The 14-day period is counted from the date you received your order. If returns are sent back after the withdrawal period has expired, the return cannot be refunded, and you will then retain the goods.

All prices listed on our website are in Swedish kronor (SEK) including VAT. We only deliver within Sweden.

All sales are carried out in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act and the Act on Distance Contracts and Contracts Outside Business Premises. More information is available at the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket),  www.konsumentverket.se.

When you complete a purchase in the web shop, you will receive an order confirmation by email. If you do not receive it, please check that you have provided the correct email address. If the address is correct, contact info@hydrographica.se for further assistance.
Hydrographica reserves the right for items to sell out, for delays, technical issues, postponed release dates, and incorrect product information.

Customer service can be reached at info@hydrographica.se.

Payment
All prices for our products are listed in Swedish kronor (SEK), including VAT. We follow the Swedish Tax Agency’s VAT rates.
We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. The price valid at the time of order is the price that applies, regardless of later increases or decreases.

Payment is made via Klarna Checkout: by card payment, direct bank transfer, or invoice (available only for customers residing in Sweden). For invoice payments, the delivery address must match the billing address in order for us to ship your order. See the conditions for each payment option at checkout.
If you need help with the payment process, please contact Klarna Customer Service at +46 (0)8-120 120 10 or email info@klarna.se.

Shipping / Delivery
Orders are normally delivered within a few days after we have received your order. During the summer period, peak seasons, and public holidays, delivery may take a few extra days. We currently ship with PostNord. The shipping fee for all deliveries within Sweden is SEK 135.

If you have provided a mobile number, you will receive an SMS notification when your package is ready for collection. If no mobile number is provided, you will receive notification by email. Please double-check that the mobile number and email address you entered are correct, as well as all address details, to ensure proper delivery.

You must always collect your package from the service point before it is returned to us.

If you discover that your package has been damaged during transport, you must first report this to your PostNord agent and then notify us immediately at info@hydrographica.se.

Right of Withdrawal / Returns
Always notify info@hydrographica.se before sending a return.

Returns are handled in accordance with the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act.
You always have the right to cancel your purchase or exchange items within 14 days after receiving your order confirmation and goods. To do this, you must notify us within the withdrawal period (14 days) and return the item. Items must be returned unused and in their original condition. If the item is not in its original condition, a deduction may be made for any loss of value. Returns sent after the withdrawal period cannot be refunded, and you will retain the goods.

As the buyer, you are responsible for the return shipping fee as well as ensuring that the item reaches Hydrographica. Please note that it may take up to 5 business days for a return to reach us. Therefore, if needed, contact Klarna to extend the due date on your invoice. By logging in on Klarna’s website or app, you can register that you have returned the item, which will freeze the invoice until the return is processed. You may also choose another shipping company for the return at your own expense. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping option.

A refund is issued only after we have received and inspected the returned item. Klarna processes the refund. Original shipping fees and invoice charges are refunded only for approved claims (complaints). Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the return.

If you return part of an order, you are responsible for the original shipping fee, any Klarna fees, and the return shipping. If you paid by invoice, use the same invoice but only pay for the products you are keeping plus any Klarna fees, shipping, and return shipping. If you return your entire order, you are responsible only for the return shipping and any Klarna fees.

You must always collect your package before returning it.

Packages not collected and returned to us are not covered by the right of withdrawal. If you do not collect your package, we must charge SEK 250 for administrative costs, shipping, and return shipping. Your order will automatically be cancelled, and you will need to place a new order if you still wish to purchase items. Unpaid invoices will be forwarded to collections via Klarna.

Complaints
All goods are checked to be intact and free of defects before shipping. If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, you must notify us immediately by emailing info@hydrographica.se. Do not return anything before contacting us. Items must be sent back promptly once a complaint is approved. Please note that if the product has been tampered with or altered, the right to complaint and warranty is void.

We cover the return shipping fee for all approved complaints. If you discover damage to your package upon receipt, you must immediately report this to the service point where you collected your shipment.

USE OF PERSONAL DATA

Use of Personal Data
With the introduction of the new data protection law, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which came into effect on May 25, 2018, we have updated the way we handle personal data and made it clearer for you why and how we store and use customer information. GDPR replaces the Swedish Personal Data Act (PUL) and gives your personal data stronger protection while giving you more control over how your data is used.

What We Store and Why
The information we have about you comes from your visits to our website and purchases in our web shop. We store information about what you click on, what you add to your shopping cart, and what you purchase.
When you place an order, we store your name, postal address, phone number, email address, customer number, and delivery and payment information. If you are a private customer and wish to pay by invoice, our payment partner Klarna requires your personal identification number (Swedish personnummer) to assess your creditworthiness. Once Klarna approves your payment, we receive your personal identification number to verify your identity. You can, of course, also shop with us without providing your personal identification number.
To send you information about your order and, if you have consented, digital communication such as newsletters and SMS, we store your email address and phone number. Your postal address is needed to deliver your package. Personal data collected during purchases is also stored for future support, complaints, and warranty purposes.

How Long We Store Personal Data
Personal data is stored as long as there is an ongoing customer relationship and in accordance with any consent given. We do not process customer data older than two years, but for accounting purposes, purchase history is stored for seven years. If you wish for your personal data to be deleted earlier or to withdraw your consent for digital communications such as newsletters and SMS, you are always welcome to contact us, and we will handle it immediately. You can also unsubscribe from newsletters directly via the link in the email.
Information on how you and other visitors navigate our website and find us is collected via Google Analytics and Google Search Console. This data is stored for 26 months.

Secure Handling
When you provide personal data during a purchase, you can always be confident that we handle your data securely. Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, is always encrypted (SSL) so that no third party can access it. We do not store credit card information at Hydrographica; it is sent directly to the credit card company. All sensitive data transfers are encrypted, including your account information and checkout. We also work daily to ensure that both we and our systems meet current security standards.
While data breaches are extremely rare, we have clear and detailed procedures to handle any incidents to minimize potential damage. You can rest assured that you will be informed immediately if such an incident occurs.

Your Rights
You always have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you and to know how and why your personal data is being used. If you disagree with how we process your data, you have the right to object and withdraw your consent. You also have the right to request that all personal data we have about you be deleted.
You are always welcome to contact us with questions regarding your personal data. You can reach us at info@hydrographica.se or by phone at +46 730 25 68 09.
